Numerous unleashed dogs dominate the beach at the lagoon outflow.

This dog started on Corcoran Lagoon Beach, crossed E. Cliff Dr. and ended up in the inner lagoon, where it chased Killdeers and ducks continuously, while its owners watched.

Off-leash dog, far away from owners, chases an egret in the lagoon outflow on Corcoran Lagoon Beach.  The egret flew to the inner lagoon but the dog ran across E. Cliff Dr. to chase it, stirring up birds everywhere.  The dog then ran back across E. Cliff Dr., onto the beach, heading toward the ocean, where its owners finally caught it.

Nesting area intrusion

Dog wanders up from the beach, no owner in sight. Dog goes into the nest area. When it wandered away, I went down to the edge of the ocean and found the dog with its owners. When I told them what their dog had been doing, they were very apologetic and immediately leashed up.
